Tennis champ Maria Sharapova has been named the first global brand ambassador for Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications. Sharapova, 20, signed an exclusive seven-figure, four-year sponsorship agreement with Sony Ericsson.
Dee Dutta, corporate vice-president and head of marketing at Sony Ericsson, said:
